Who did the turn on the clock? Time again for budgeting!
In many regions, the summer holidays are not over yet, and yet those responsible should already start planning for the business travel year 2020. It appears to me that the forecast of costs in the business travel sector is published a little earlier each year. This year CWT in cooperation with GBTA, the Global Business Travel Association, is making a start.
On 71 pages CWT highlights the expected changes in the regions Asia/Pacific, Europe/Middle East/Africa, Latin America and North America. These are broken down by air, hotel and ground transportation. As usual, CWT is also addressing the general trends that are having an impact on the industry and, of course, on service providers, but will certainly continue to do so in the coming year.
In a conversation with Scott Solombrino, COO and Executive Director of GBTA, Kurt Ekert, President and CEO of CWT, explains some of the insights and how travel managers can use the information to better position their travel program in the future.
A longer reading – but a must for every travel manager and of course also for all sales and account managers who want to be well prepared for the next customer meetings. We would be happy to discuss with you (perhaps within the framework of a workshop) what the effects could be on your company. Just give us a call or send us an email (of course also via Messenger).
