The topic first touched him 30 years ago. At that time, he was evacuated in a chaotic way from the civil war country Rwanda as the unaccompanied child of an expatriate.

For 20 years now, he has been advising companies on issues of duty of care, business travel insurance and international private health insurance.) He also supports insurance companies in cost control and claims management.
